LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn State Harrisburg's Maddux Ryan and Danny Eden have swept the United East Baseball Weekly Awards. Ryan was named the conference's player of the week, while Eden earned United East Pitcher of the Week recognition.

The pair joins Dallas Hite and Hunter Merritt as Penn State Harrisburg baseball players to earn the weekly accolade this spring.

Ryan reached base in all eight of his plate appearances during a pair of contests against No. 16 Arcadia on Sunday afternoon. The senior finished 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs scored, and a pair of walks in a 14-8 victory over the Knights before going 3-for-3 with two more runs in game two before the contest was halted in the eighth inning due to darkness with the Lions ahead 13-6.

Eden earned his first win of the young season on the mound in the opener against Arcadia, throwing five innings without allowing an earned run on just two hits and five walks. The sophomore struck out a season-high six batters in his second start of the spring.

The Lions (4-1) will complete Sunday's halted game with Arcadia on Monday afternoon before finishing up the three-game series with the Knights in the evening.
