MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - A trio of Penn State Harrisburg baseball players in Zach Gettys, Dallas Hite, and Matt Parks have earned All-Region honors from D3baseball.com.

Gettys was named to the D3baseball.com All-Region 4 First Team, while Hite and Parks earned second-team all-region recognition.

Gettys secured first-team all-region accolades from both the ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com after he was named the United East Pitcher of the Year earlier this spring. The senior picked up first-team all-conference honors after ranking 16th in the nation in wins with nine. The lefty hurler also ranks 24th among Division III pitchers with 96 total strikeouts, as well as 27th in the country in strikeouts per nine innings (12.52). The York, Pa. native finished the year with a 3.00 ERA and a pair of saves after holding opposing hitters to a .202 batting average. He wraps up his illustrious career as the program's all-time leader in wins (21), strikeouts (281), innings pitched (235.1), and starts (45). Gettys was also named the United East Pitcher of the Week in mid-April (4/11).

Hite's ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com Second-Team All-Region accolades this season come after the ABCA pegged him a first-team all-region honoree a year ago. A D3baseball.com Preseason All-American, the outfielder earned United East First-Team All-Conference honors after slashing .332/.388/.612 with a 1.000 OPS. The Lilly, Pa. native ranks 19th in the country with 14 home runs and 45th in the nation with 120 total bases this year to go along with 13 doubles, 52 RBI, 45 runs scored, 18 walks, and 20 stolen bases. He became just the 14th player in NCAA Division III history to hit two grand slams in a single game during a United East Tournament win over Penn College in early May (5/9).

For Parks, his second-team all-region accolades this spring are his second in as many seasons from both the ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com. The junior was named to the United East All-Conference First Team for the second time after turning in another strong effort at the plate this spring. The corner infielder slashed .348/.516/.683 with a 1.199 OPS and ranked fourth in the nation with 49 walks. He also ranked 44th in the country with a dozen home runs and 50th among Division III players with 57 runs scored. The Three Springs, Pa. native added 16 doubles, 52 RBI, and 11 stolen bases this season. He was named the United East Championship Tournament MVP after slashing .706/.808/1.235 with a 2.043 OPS, a grand slam, four doubles, nine RBI, 11 runs scored, and nine walks across five tournament games.
