Blue and White Win Second Straight Against Roanoke
Salem, Va.- After a big win yesterday against Roanoke, the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team faced them once again this afternoon. The home team brought in the first run of the day but Harrisburg dominated the rest of the game and went on to win 8-3.

Harrisburg struggled at bat in the first four innings but eventually found their stride in the fifth. Chris Iocca (North Brunswick, N.J. / N. Brunswick Twp) singled to left field, sending Scott Angstadt Jr. (Jarrettsville, Md. / North Harford) to home plate for Harrisburg's first run of the game. Kevin Kremer (Hershey, pa. / Hershey) then doubled down the left field line, driving home Connor Bowers (Mount Joy, Pa. / Donegal) and advancing Iocca to third. Travis VanHouten (Saylorsburg, Pa. / Pleasant Valley) stepped up with a single to the pitcher, as Iocca scored with great hustle coming home.

With bases loaded in the seventh, Blake Reiff (Manheim, Pa. / Manheim Central) stepped up to try and bring all three of the Lion's home. Reiff and Angstadt came up big with two RBI's to secure the lead in the bottom of the 7th, but the Rooneys weren't finished yet. Roanoke had a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh and a single, adding one more run to Roanoke's total. Cole Backenstose (Hummelstown, Pa. / Lower Dauphin) took home the win for Harrisburg, giving up only one run, along with three strike outs.

Penn State Harrisburg finishes up its spring break trip tomorrow against Washington and Lee. Game time is scheduled for 3 pm.
