Gray Earns Second Conference Weekly Award

LATHAM, N.Y. - Penn State Harrisburg women's indoor track & field athlete Leah Gray has been named the United East Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

 

For Gray, it is her second conference weekly award after earning the same accolade in mid-December. 

 

At Franklin & Marshall's Mini-Dip Invitational on Saturday, Gray shattered her own 60m record, breaking her previous mark in the event by .15 seconds and besting 61 other runners to earn the victory. The senior's time of 7.76 seconds currently ranks tops in the United East and 24th in the nation. The sprinter also secured a seventh-place finish out 34 competitors in the 200m thanks to an effort of 28.22 seconds.  

 

Gray and her teammates return to action at Ursinus' Frank Colden Invite on Saturday, Feb. 3.
