BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's track & field teams were back in action at the Moravian Indoor Meet contested at Lehigh's Rauch Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 21.

Numerous athletes turned in the top efforts of their career, including sprinter Leah Gray, thrower Sean Myron, and pole vaulter Tony Pelino, while middle-distance runner Tatyana Gibson was an individual winner.

Gibson bested 34 other competitors, including a pair of Division I runners, in a thrilling women's 800m race thanks to her time of 2:26.56; an effort .23 seconds faster than the runner-up from St. Joseph's (Pa.). Gray was stellar in the 60m, coming home fifth in the final and as the second-highest finishing non-Division I competitor. Her sprint of 8.01 seconds was good enough to rank her second all-time in the event in program history.

On the men's side, Myron earned a top-10 finish in the shot put, as his best toss of 13.58 meters shattered his previous top mark in the event. His latest effort currently ranks as the second best in program history. Pelino reset his own best effort in the pole vault for the second time in as many weeks, with his top mark of 3.66 meters proving good enough for ninth overall. It also stands as the second-best vault in program history.

Elsewhere, Isaac Whitson turned in a strong effort in the men's triple jump, finishing fourth thanks to a top leap of 12.57 meters. Paul Netland earned a fourth-place finish of his own in the 60m hurdles behind a qualifying mark of 8.83 seconds.

The Lions return to the track next weekend at Bucknell's two-day Bison Open and Multi beginning on Friday afternoon, Jan. 27 and concluding the next day.
