LATHAM, N.Y. – Thanks to their efforts in the team's most recent victories, Penn State Harrisburg's Kyla Brossoit and Sydney Hemler have swept the United East Women's Soccer Weekly Awards.

Brossoit was named the conference's offensive player of the week, while Hemler earned defensive player of the week honors for the second week in a row.

Brossoit turned in the strongest offensive performance of her career in Penn State Harrisburg's 12-0 victory at Wells on Saturday afternoon, tallying six total points by recording her first career hat trick behind a trio of goals.

Hemler picked up her second consecutive weekly moniker after helping lead the defensive unit to two more shutout victories, including a 2-0 blanking of regionally-ranked Arcadia on Wednesday night. She also got into the scoring act with a marker during the victory at Wells three days later.

The Lions wrap up non-conference play when they host Goucher for the program's Breast Cancer Awareness Game on Tuesday night, Oct. 18.
