LATHAM, N.Y. – Thanks to his performance across two days over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg's Tiger Xu has been named the United East Men's Golfer of the Week.

The sophomore was Penn State Harrisburg's top individual finisher at the Golden Oaks Shootout hosted by Arcadia at the Golden Oaks Country Club on Friday, Sept. 24 and Saturday, Sept. 25. Xu carded a two-day total of 148 (+4) to earn a share of fourth place overall out of 55 total golfers, while his final-round 71 was good enough to earn him a share of the second-lowest single-round score in program history.

Xu and the rest of the Lions return to action at the United East Fall Preview hosted by Rutgers-Camden at the Rancocas Golf Club in Willingboro, N.J. on Monday afternoon, Oct. 4.
