Baylor-Carroll Earns Second United East POTW Accolade

LATHAM, N.Y. - Thanks to his efforts in a pair of lopsided victories, Penn State Harrisburg's Donyae Baylor-Carroll has been named the United East Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

The senior's most-recent accolade is his second conference weekly award of the season after he earned the same honor in late November.

Baylor-Carroll was stellar in routs of Penn College on Wednesday night and St. Mary's (Md.) the following evening. The Harrisburg, Pa. native stuffed the stat sheet in the win over Penn College, racking up 12 points, six steals, five assists, and five rebounds. The sharpshooter followed it up by knocking down six 3-balls and pouring in a game-high 25 points to go along with six steals, five boards, and three assists in the win over the Seahawks. Though not playing in the team's victory over Gallaudet on Saturday afternoon, Baylor-Carroll entered the game momentarily late in the second half for a curtain call on Senior Day. For the week, he averaged 18.5 points, six steals, five rebounds, and four assists.

The Lions (20-2, 13-1 United East) will travel to Penn State Abington for their penultimate game of the regular season on Tuesday night. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
