LATHAM, N.Y. – Thanks to his monster performance on Saturday afternoon, Penn State Harrisburg's Dylan Daniels has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Daniels joins teammate Donyae Baylor-Carroll (11/18) as Penn State Harrisburg players to earn the conference's weekly accolade so far this season.
The sophomore flirted with a triple-double and finished with game-highs of 20 points, 11 rebounds, and eight blocks in a victory at Washington College on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Clarksville, Md. native racked up his point total on an impressive 72.7-percent shooting clip from the field. The versatile big man currently leads NCAA Division III in the blocks-per-game category (6.4).
The Lions (4-1) return to action at Messiah on Tuesday night, Nov. 26.
