MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's women's soccer team extended its recent shutout streak to six in a row thanks to a 1-0 victory over Goucher on Tuesday night, Oct. 18.

Despite nearly quadrupling Goucher's shot total on the night, the Lions (10-3-3) struggled to finish off a potential go-ahead score until less than 10 minutes remained in regulation. Finally, with 7:01 left to play, Mackenzie Mowery gathered a find from Makayla Grace Weber and put her shot past Gopher goalkeeper Marissa Spacht.

The Gophers (7-5-2) mustered a last push, earning a corner kick and getting off two shots in the final six minutes but Penn State Harrisburg goalkeeper Sydney Mulka turned away both attempts to preserve the victory.
