Gould Finishes on Top for Harrisburg at CAC Championships

St. Leonard, Maryland- The 2015 CAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championship meet was hosted by St. Mary's on Saturday, October 31st in St. Leonard, Maryland. The women ran a 6k while the men ran an 8k. Both the Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's cross country teams had several individuals place in the championship race. 

Junior Kaitlyn Gould (Camp Hill, Pa. / Cedar Cliff) placed on top for Harrisburg with a time of 31:11. Sophomore Kyla Line (Harrisburg, Pa. Bishop McDevitt) was only a few seconds behind Gould with a time of 31:53.

On the men's side, Senior Jordan Fuhrman (Lancaster, Pa. / Hempfield High School) led for the Nittany Lions with a finish of 31:36. He was closely followed by teammate Ethan Brackbill (Lancaster, Pa. / Conestoga Valley) who finished the race in 32:02. Freshman Vladimir Theophile (Reading, Pa. / Cherry Hill East High School) finished it out for Harrisburg with a time of 32:09. 

The 2015-2016 season ended on Saturday for both the men and women. Overall, several runners improved throughout the season. Many of the runners will also participate in the Winter track season for Penn State Harrisburg.
