Hernandez leads Lions at York Invitational

The Penn State Harrisburg women's cross country competed as individuals at the York Invitational Saturday September 13th.  The Lions were missing top runner Rachel Sechrist, but the newcomers to the team stepped up and took advantage of the opportunity.

Freshman Laura Hernandez finished on top for Harrisburg with her time of  29:43.80, which was good enough for 31st place overall.  Kaitlin Gould came in eight spots back for 39th with her 31:18.60 finish, followed by Nicole Lindie, and Atinuke Adeshola.

The Lions will race again Saturday September 20th at the Dickinson Invitational along side the men's team.
