MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision against non-conference opponent Elizabethtown College on Tuesday night, Oct. 18.

Anna Ruff, Hannah DeGregory, and Tori Henderson led the way for the Blue & White on the offensive end, where they were helped by senior setter Alyssa Snyder. On defense, Olivia Koicuba, Julia Choe, and Henderson shined as the trio produced 33 out of 48 total team digs.

The first and second sets of the match were competitive until the very end, both ending 25-20 in favor of the visiting Blue Jays. DeGregory carried the Lions offensively in the beginning set, where she had five out of her seven total kills on the evening. The Blue & White forced seven ties during the first set but Elizabethtown took a decisive lead when they got up 24-18. In the second set, the home team was down by as much as eight points before they fought back to get within four, but the comeback happened too late. The final set of the night proved to be the hardest for Penn State Harrisburg, as they got down early and couldn't catch the Blue Jays who had the momentum throughout the match.
