LATHAM, N.Y. - Thanks to her efforts in a pair of matches last week, Penn State Harrisburg's Alyssa Snyder has been named the United East Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

Snyder was stellar from her setter position in two outings last week, racking up a career-high 48 assists in a four-set victory at Marywood on Tuesday night. Her assist total in the win over the Pacers stands as the third-highest single-match mark in program history. The Henrico, N.C. native followed it up with 42 helpers in a five-set setback at Alvernia two nights later. For the week, the senior tallied 90 total assists, including 10 assists per set, to go along with seven kills, three service aces, and 12 total points.

The Lions return to action when they host Penn State Altoona at the Capital Union Building on Thursday night, Oct. 6.
