Ebaugh Clinches NCAA Statistical Championship In Block Solos

INDIANAPOLIS – Penn State Harrisburg women's volleyball player Brittany Ebaugh has won the NCAA Division III Statistical Championship in the category of block solos.

With the 2019 season now complete, Ebaugh has clinched the statistical championship after racking up 70 block solos during the most-recent campaign. Her total is tops among NCAA Division III players by more than 20 solo rejections.

The senior capped her impressive four-year career by being named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Defensive Player of the Year and earning first-team all-conference recognition. In addition to leading the country in block solos, Ebaugh also ranked fifth in the nation in total blocks (145) and blocks per set (1.25). The team captain led the NEAC with a .364 hitting percentage, ranked sixth among conference players with 416.5 total points and finished seventh in the league with 305 kills. The middle blocker is the program's all-time leader in kills and blocks and the Stewartstown, Pa. native became the first player in school history to surpass 1,000 points for her career. Ebaugh was named the NEAC Player of the Week (9/16) and NEAC Defensive Player of the Week (11/4) earlier this fall.
