How It Happened

Penn State Harrisburg picked up its second win of the day thanks to a three-set victory over NEAC foe SUNY Cobleskill at Penn State Abington on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26.

The Lions (13-11, 7-3 NEAC) rolled in the opening set, scoring four consecutive points during an Olivia Koicuba service run before scoring eight of the game's last nine points, including the clinching kill from Brittany Ebauh off a pass from Alyssa Snyder.

The second set was more competitive, with the Blue & White erasing an early deficit and taking the lead for the first time on a Katelyn Kreider service ace. Eventually, the visitors put together an 8-to-0 run that Kreider finished off with a kill off an assist from Snyder.

The final game was a back-and-forth affair that saw Penn State Harrisburg trailing late. A service error by the Tigers (12-12, 2-8 NEAC) knotted things up before back-to-back kills from Brittany Ebaugh gave the Lions the advantage.
