LATHAM, N.Y. – Three Penn State Harrisburg student-athletes in men's soccer player Jared Brewer and women's volleyball players Brittany Ebaugh and Alexis Imler have earned player of the week honors from the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC).

Brewer was pegged the conference's men's soccer defensive player of the week, while Ebaugh and Imler swept the women's volleyball awards, with the former being named the player of the week and the latter picking up defensive player of the week accolades.

Brewer helped lead the Blue & White to a pair of wins last week. Despite his role as a defender, the junior netted the first goal of his career in the team's 2-1 victory over Penn College in the Lions' conference opener on Saturday afternoon. His marker proved a valuable equalizer in the game's 68th minute. As the team's center back, the Reston, Va. native helped hold Penn State Brandywine to just two total shots and one shot on goal in Penn State Harrisburg's 5-0 shutout victory on Wednesday before limiting the Wildcats to just four attempts and three shots on frame in the conference-opening win three days later.

Ebaugh helped lead Penn State Harrisburg to three victories last week. The senior twice recorded double-digit kills with a hitting percentage over .400 and was also strong at the net in a defensive role. In a four-set win over Wilson on Wednesday, the middle blocker tallied 14 kills (.423 hitting percentage) and recorded eight total blocks. She followed it up with nine kills and four digs in a five-set victory over Cedar Crest in the opening contest of a tri-match at Wilkes on Saturday before racking up 18 kills (.571 hitting percentage) to go along with four blocks in a four-set win against the hosts later in the day. For the week, the Stewartstown, Pa. native averaged 3.15 kills, 0.92 blocks and 3.7 points per set to go along with a .378 hitting percentage.

Imler's versatility was also key to the Lions' 3-0 week. The senior posted a pair of double-doubles and just narrowly missed out on a third. In the team's win over Wilson on Wednesday night, the setter/hitter hybrid dug out nine balls and assisted on 14 points. The Bedford, Pa. native also added three blocks, a pair of kills and two service aces. She followed it up with 19 assists, 14 digs, five kills and a block in a five-set victory over Cedar Crest in the first outing of the tri-match at Wilkes on Saturday afternoon before posting 22 digs, 18 assists, seven kills, two service aces and a block in the four-set win over the hosts in the nightcap. For the week, Imler averaged 3.92 assists, 3.46 digs and 1.08 kills per set.
