  • Athletic Achievement Honored at 2019 Student-Athlete Award Ceremony

    Penn State Harrisburg held its 2019 Student-Athlete Award Ceremony on Sunday evening, April 28 at the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre in the Student Enrichment Center, awarding year-end accolades, team MVP honors and scholar-athlete award recognition as part of the celebration of the College’s athletic achievement from the 2018-19 season.
  • Penn State Harrisburg Summer Camp Registration Now Open

    Penn State Harrisburg has announced that a number of the school’s athletic programs will again be hosting their annual summer camps, beginning in June. Registration for all nine camps is now open.
  • Lions Season Comes To An End In CAC Playoffs

  • Women’s Volleyball Prepared For Playoffs

    Penn State Harrisburg has finished its 2018 regular season and is now prepared for a playoff run. The #7-seeded Lions will travel to #2 Christopher Newport for their match up in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament on Tuesday Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
  • Volleyball Falls To Mary Washington In Regular-Season Finale

    Penn State Harrisburg fell in its regular-season finale at Mary Washington in straight sets. The Lions were led offensively by Katelyn Hossler who had 10 kills and defensively by Kari Ammerman and Kerri Miller who each had seven digs.
  • Wolf Racks Up 16 Kills at Frostburg State

    Penn State Harrisburg fell in CAC action to Frostburg State by a score of 3-1. The Lions got another excellent offense performance recording 16 kills and three blocks solo. The Lions defense was very active compiling 108 digs in the match including 35 digs by Kari Ammerman and 33 digs by Katelyn Hossler.
  • Volleyball Splits In Home Finale

    For the team’s 2018 home finale, Penn State Harrisburg hosted a tri-match at the Capital Union Building on Saturday, Oct. 20. The Blue & White opened the day with a hard-fought 3-1 loss to Misercordia before responding with a 3-0 sweep of Rutgers-Camden.

    Harrisburg, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball team dominated Albright College in route to a 3-0 victory. The Lions Middle Blockers Brittany Wolf and Alexandra Kon controlled the action combining for 21 Kills. Kristin Waring continued to set the Lions offense recording 36 Assists.

    Harrisburg, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball team fell to Lebanon Valley despite seven kills from Brittany Wolf. The Lions defense got 10 digs from Katelyn Hossler. Hossler also added four service aces.

    Harrisburg, Pa. – Brittany Wolf became Penn State Harrisburg Volleyball’s Career Kills Leader as the Lions picked up a CAC win over St. Mary’s in five sets. The Lions when they defeat Cheyney University to close out the day. Against St. Mary’s the Lions got a standout performances from Melanie Sheaffer who recorded 17 Kills and Kristin Waring who recorded 44 Assists.

    Towson, Md. – The Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball dropped a hard fought match to Goucher, falling in five sets. The Lions were led by Melanie Sheaffer who recorded nine kills. Defensively, Katelyn Hossler posted fifteen digs.
  • Lions Sweep Ramapo, Bard

    Harrisburg, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball team picked up wins over Ramapo College and Bard College at the Roadrunner Invitational. In the Lions matchup with Ramapo, Melanie Sheaffer led the Lions with a career high 19 kills. In Harrisburg’s matchup with Bard, Kristin Waring posted 36 assists.
  • Harrisburg Defeats Mt. Aloysius At Roadrunner Invitational

    Harrisburg, Pa. – After falling to New Paltz, the Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball team rebounded to defeat Mt. Aloysius 3-1. Brittany Wolf led the team in kills in both games, recording 14 in the victory. Against Mt. Aloysius, the Lions had an impressive 15 service aces including five from Kristin Waring.
  • Aman and Wolf Appear In CAC Top Plays

    Harrisburg, PA- Joey Aman and Brittany Wolf both had standout plays this week that earn them spots in the CAC Top Plays. In double overtime against Neumann, Joey Aman stole the ball at Midfield, drove into the box, and finished the chance to give the Lions a 2-1 victory. Brittany Wolf helped rally the Lions in the fifth set versus Shenandoah, closing the set with a solo block. 
  • Harrisburg Rolls Past Altoona

    The Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball team picked up a road victory over Penn State Altoona, 3-0. The Lions offense was led by Brittany Wolf who recorded a team high nine kills. Kristin Waring had another strong outing recording 30 assists. Defensively, Katelyn Hossler posted 20 digs.
  • Wolf’s Block Secures Lions Victory

    Harrisburg, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball team picked up a thrilling five set victory over Shenandoah University. The Lions rallied from a six point deficit in the final set, with a thunderous block from Brittany Wolf securing the victory. Early in the day, Harrisburg fell to Wilkes University 3-1.
  • Sheaffer Records 13 Kills In Home Opener

    Harrisburg, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Volleyball team lost a hard fought battle with Marywood University in their home opener. Megan Sheaffer led the Lions offense attack, posting 13 kills. Defensively Kari Ammerman recorded a team high 11 digs.
  • Lions Split Opening Day at Gettysburg Battlefield Classic

    Gettysburg Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg women’s volleyball team traveled to the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic.  After a successful tournament in 2017 with a 3-1 record, the Lions were placed in a higher division for the 2018 tournament.  
  • Volleyball Picked 7th in CAC Preseason Poll

    FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Penn State Harrisburg Volleyball team was picked 7th in the CAC Preseason Poll. Defending champion Christopher Newport secured top billing in the 2018 CAC Volleyball Preseason Poll.
