How it Happened:

Penn State Harrisburg claimed their first ever CAC win against Wesley. In the first set the Lions came out slow, as the Wolverines took an early lead and held it throughout to take set one 25-18. As the second set began the Lions looked to redeem themselves. The Lions came out with a small lead and were able to maintain it throughout, taking set two 25-21. In a pivotal third set, the Lions and the Wolverines fought hard keeping it close throughout tying the set at 27 apiece. The Lions claimed the third set with two kills by Rachale Hair to finish out the set with a score of 29-27. In the fourth set, the Lions built a big lead but the Wolverines would not go away as they made a run. The Lions proved too much in the end to take the set and the match 3-1.

"I was really proud of how the team played together and made a lot of smart plays. It was an entire team effort, from serve receive, to serving, and taking aggressive swings at the net".
