Lady Lions Blanked By Notre Dame

Middletown, Pa- The Penn State Harrisburg women's volleyball team dropped their match to a youthful Nortre Dame squad Saturday in three sets.

After a slight delay, the blue and white hit the court versus a young, eager Notre Dame squad.  The Gators jumped on the Lions early in the first match and managed to keep their foot on the gas pedal for the remainder of the set.  The next two sets proved to be much of the same for the visiting Gators.

The Lions were led by sophomore Izabella D'Onofrio (Clarksboro, NJ/ Gloucester County Institute of Technology) and Megan Sheaffer (Palmyra, Pa/ Palmyra Area) with seven kills each.

Harrisburg will hope to turn things around on Monday, September 22 at home against Hood.
