GENEVA, Ohio – Penn State Harrisburg's Rae Rae Taylor became just the fourth student-athlete in school history to earn all-America honors thanks to her stellar effort in the women's heptathlon across two days of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute.

Taylor wrapped up her two days of competition on Friday afternoon, May 24. The sophomore took part in the long jump, javelin throw and 800m run after competing in the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m dash the day before. Her efforts across the seven events were strong enough to rack up 4,651 total points, clinch her a seventh-place finish and secure her U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America recognition. She joins teammates Cameron Yon and Sarah Lehman, as well as former teammate Ashley Williams, as Penn State Harrisburg student-athletes to earn the illustrious distinction.

Jalil Clayton capped his two days of competition at the NCAA's national event on Friday as well. After running the men's 400m hurdles one day earlier, the senior came home 15th in the 110m hurdles on day two thanks to a time of 14.88 seconds.

The Lions will close out their three days of action at the NCAA Championships when Lehman takes part in the women's triple jump on Saturday afternoon, May 25. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:45 p.m.
