Birmingham, AL - Ashley Williams has taken the next big step in her collegiate athletic career by reaching the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship Finals. In her second trip to the championships, she has earned the right to race for a national title.

Ashley came into the 60m hurdles event in the 13th position, but found a way to guarantee herself a top eight position and  a chance for so much more.  Williams finished in the eighth position with a time of 8.95 in a very tight field.  First place position finished with 8.67 time and second place at 8.79.  This should make for a very exciting final.  

The 60m hurdle final will be at approximately 2:10pm on Saturday March 10th.
