Ashley Williams Returns to NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship

Middletown, Pa. - Ashley Williams is a name that is definitely known on campus for her impressive athletic resume. She has won the gold at the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Championship, Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship and hopes to add the remarkable accomplishment of winning a medal that the top level in Division III sports.  Williams will run the 60m hurdles March 9th-10th in Birmingham Alabama for a shot at being named a national champion.  

Williams is a junior and this is not her first time attending this event.  Last year she placed 11th overall, but this year she knows what to expect and has been training for this specific race all season.  "Our team and department are beaming with pride as Ashley returns to the NCAA Championships for the second time."  Head Coach Danielle Lynch continued with, "this year she has a faster seed time than last year and is stronger on all fronts than before."
