  • Lehman Earns All-American Honors In The Triple Jump

    La Crosse, WI- Sarah Lehman took fifth place in the Triple Jump at the NCAA Division III Championships, earning her All-American honors. Lehman traveled 11.95 Meters in the event, capturing the honors. Rae Rae Taylor also competed at the Championships, taking 12th in the Heptathlon.
  • Lehman Named USTFCCCA Mid-East Region Women's Field Athlete Of The Year

    La Crosse, WI- Regional Athletes and Coaches of the Year for the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Penn State Harrisburg's Sarah Lehman was selected as the Mid-East Region Women's Field Athlete Of The Year by the Association. Lehman, a freshman from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, was the CAC Rookie of the Year after winning a league title in the triple jump while placing second in the long jump. Her season-best triple jump mark of 11.96m (39-3) ranked eighth nationally, while her long jump mark of 5.72m (18-9¼) sat 19th nationally.
  • Lions Send Five To Nationals

    Harrisburg, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams are sending five athletes to participate in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 24-26 in Spire, Ohio. On the Women’s side Sarah Lehman will take part in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, and Rae Rae Taylor will compete in the Heptathlon. For the Men’s team, Cameron Yon qualified in the Discus Throw, Jalil Clayton qualified in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 400 Meter Hurdles, and Alex White qualified in the Long Jump.
  • Lehman Captures ECAC Championship

    Baltimore, MD- Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Track & Field team took 11th out of 28 teams at the ECAC Championships hosted by Johns Hopkins.  Sarah Lehman won the Triple Jump and took second in the Long jump. Rae Rae Taylor took second in the Heptathlon and Rachale Hair took seventh in the Discus Throw for the Lions.
  • Lehman Named CAC Rookie Of The Year; Taylor Earns First Team All-CAC Honors

    Harrisburg, Pa- Sarah Lehman, who also secured Rookie of the Year honors at the indoor championships, becomes the first Penn State Harrisburg athlete to win Outdoor Rookie of the Year. Lehman won the triple jump and finished second in the long jump for the Lions at the championships. Rae Rae Taylor secured a pair of individual titles in the long jump and javelin en route to All-CAC first team accolades. 
  • Lions Win 4 Individual Championships

    Salisbury, MD.- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams had very successful outing in the CAC Championships held at Salisbury University. The Men’s team finished sixth with a team score of 56 Points. The Women’s team scored 52 Points which earned them a seventh place finish. Rae Taylor, Sarah Lehman, and Jalil Clayton each won CAC Championships in various events. All together fifteen different Lions scored points in the championships.
  • Lions Off To Great Start At CAC Outdoor Championships

    Salisbury, MD.- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field are off to an excellent start in day one of the 2018 CAC Outdoor Conference Championships. Rae Rae Taylor picked up CAC championship in the Long Jump and Javelin Throw. Joseph Rebarchak picked up a second place finish in the Javelin and Sarah Lehman finished second in the Long Jump. Alex White and Cameron Yon also scored team points in the Long Jump and Hammer Throw respectively.

    Penn State University Harrisburg freshman Sarah Lehman secured Rookie of the Week honors after jumping to a mark of 12.18 meters in the triple jump at the Penn Relays last weekend. Her mark remains fourth in Division III in the triple jump this season. 
  • Lehman Name CAC Athlete Of The Week

    Penn State Harrisburg freshman Sarah Lehman secured CAC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this year after jumping to a mark of 12.18 meters in the triple jump at the Penn Relays last weekend. If not for wind aid, Lehman's mark would have set a new CAC record and ranked No. 2 in the nation this spring. She remains fourth in Division III in the triple jump. Lehman was the first-ever Penn State Harrisburg women's track & field athlete to compete at the historic Penn Relays. 
  • Lions Looking To Continue Momentum In CAC Championships

    Harrisburg, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Track & Field team is by led a pair of Nationally ranked athletes into the CAC championships on May 4th and 5th at Salisbury University. Rae Rae Taylor and Sarah Lehman are both ranked in the top 50 in two events each.
  • Taylor Named CAC Athlete Of The Week

    Penn State Harrisburg freshman Rae Rae Taylor collected CAC Field Athlete of the Week after posting the sixth-best heptathlon score in Division III this spring at the Mondschein Multi hosted by Kutztown. Taylor totaled 4,438 points throughout the event. Taylor also excelled in the long jump, posting a mark of 5.41 meters, which ranks 42nd nationally and atop the CAC this season. 
  • Yon Records Top NCAA Division III Discus Throw

    Lewisburg, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams had another great showing at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Cameron Yon Discus Throw of 55.83 Meters, which places him first in all of Division III so far this season.
  • Lions Strong At Jim Taylor Invitational

    Penn State Harrisburg opened its 2018 Outdoor Men’s and Women’s Track & Field season at the Jim Taylor Invitational at Susquehanna University on March 31st. The Lions got off to a strong start having several athletes break school records and produce times and distance good enough to qualify for championships later in the season.
  • Williams Earns All-American Honor in 60m Hurdles
    March 10, 2018
    Birmingham, AL - Ashley Williams completed her junior indoor track and field season along with the eight best 60m hurdles in all of Division III. Ashley came into the 60m hurdles preliminary event in 13th position, but finished in the eighth position overall to reach the finals with a time of 8.95. On Saturday March 10th, she competed in the finals for the first time in her career. Unfortunately it was not her best race of the year, but her tremendous effort and 9.24 time earned her seventh place overall. Her finish also makes her an All-American hurdler.

    Birmingham, AL - Ashley Williams has taken the next big step in her collegiate athletic career by reaching the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship Finals. In her second trip to the championships, she has earned the right to race for a national title.
  • Ashley Williams Returns to NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship

    Middletown, Pa. - Ashley Williams is a name that is definitely known on campus for her impressive athletic resume. She has won the gold at the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Championship, Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship and hopes to add the remarkable accomplishment of winning a medal that the top level in Division III sports.  Williams will run the 60m hurdles March 9th-10th in Birmingham Alabama for a shot at being named a national champion.  
  • Lady Lions Shine at ECAC Championships

    New York, NY - Penn State Harrisburg Women's Track & Field team placed 10th out of 28 teams at the 2017-18 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted at the New York City Armory.  Harrisburg was led by hurdler Ashley Williams and jumper Sarah Lehman who dominated their respective events.  The Lions recorded 37 team points in the ECAC Championships.
  • Men's And Women's Track & Field Teams Prepare For ECAC Championships

    Harrisburg, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg’s Men’s and Women’s Track & Field team are sending nine athletes to the ECAC Championship in New York City on March 2nd and 3rd in hopes of improving their position nationally. To qualify for the NCAA Men’s Championship, an athlete needs to hold a top 15 time or distance and for the Women’s Championship, they need to hold a top 17 time or distance.

    Fredericksburg, VA - Freshman Sarah Lehman has been named Capital Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year for the Indoor season. Lehman and freshman teammate Rae Ray Taylor were also named to the 1st and 2nd All-CAC Teams.
  • Lions Take 6th At CAC Indoor Championships

    Newport News, Va- Penn State Harrisburg Women's Track & Field team took 6th place at the 2017-18 CAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.  Sarah Lehman and Rae Rae Taylor captured CAC Championships in the Triple Jump and Long Jump. As a team, the Blue & White scored 54 points.

  • Williams Named CAC Athlete Of The Week

    Penn State Harrisburg junior Ashley Williams was tabbed as the CAC Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 60-meter hurdles at the Orange & Maroon Classic last weekend. Williams raced to a time of 9.06 seconds in the 60 hurdles, which ranks atop the CAC and seventh on the national list.

    Penn State Harrisburg Women’s Track & Field team returned to Susquehanna University to participate in the Orange & Maroon Classic. Competing against CAC foes Frostburg St and York as well as several local Division III opponents brought out the best out in the Lions.

  • Lehman Named CAC Athlete Of The Week

    Penn State Harrisburg freshman Sarah Lehman was tabbed as the CAC Field Athlete of the Week after breaking the CAC record in the triple jump. Lehman posted a mark of 11.33 meters at the River Hawk Opener hosted by Susquehanna, breaking the previous CAC record of 11.31 meters set by Salisbury's Ashley Jackson in 2015. Lehman also took first in the long jump at 5.19 meters. Her triple jump mark ranks second nationally and her long jump mark ranks 29th.

The Lions set several school records and saw multiple athletes’ post times and distances that will qualify them for the CAC and ECAC Championships.
