IMMACULATA, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's women's tennis team opened its 2019-20 campaign in emphatic fashion with a convincing 8-1 victory at Immaculata on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 14.

Singles play was just as successful for the Blue & White, with Lim going over Masterman 6-4, 6-3 in the first solo contest of her young collegiate career, Nye shaking off an early loss to earn a 5-7, 7-6, 10-7 victory over Jacob in the No. 2 pairing and Datta recording a 6-3, 6-3 win against Degnan in the No. 3 outing.

Bennett came from behind to earn her victory in the fifth matchup, going over Dougherty 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 and Claire Hackenberg capped Penn State Harrisburg's scoring by handling O'Brien 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 6 contest.
