Christopher Newport Sweeps Harrisburg at Home

Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's tennis teams hosted the Christopher Newport Captains on Sunday April 8th. The Captains men and women came into the contest each with just one loss in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) play.

Penn State Harrisburg's men were unable to find a win, but the Lion who pushed back the most was Isaac George who played the #5 spot.  On the women's side, it was also a tough day for Harrisburg tennis.  Sydney Nye did put together a strong showing at the #1 singles and doubles spot, falling 6-3 and 6-1 in singles. 

The Lion men face off against Lebanon Valley College on Thursday at 3:30 pm.  The women will play alongside the men against York College on Friday April 13th.  Both teams begin play at 3:30 pm.
