Harrisburg Stumbles at Home Against Salisbury

The Penn State Harrisburg women's soccer team struggled at home against the Salisbury Seagulls in what became a route for the visitors winning 8-1 on the road.

Harrisburg was slow from the start and allowed the Seagulls to find the net with ease in what was possibly their worst defensive performance as a team.  Salisbury scored four goals in the first half and four goals in the second in a very dissapointing perfomance for the Blue and White.

The lone bright spot for Harrisburg came from Freshman Erica Hile who scored her third goal of the season off a free kick taken by Kristen Peckman who was credited for the assist when her ball into the box was redirected by Hile.

The Lions host Christopher Newport Saturday at 4:00 pm at the Harrisburg soccer complex.
