The teams would trade baskets midway through the quarter with Mahan connecting on a three-pointer to put Harrisburg ahead by nine points. Jayla Galbreath followed with a three-pointer, increasing the advantage to ten points. The Lions held a 43-35 advantage going to the half.

The Lions offense immediately got to work in the second half with Butler drawing a foul on a three-pointer and knocking down all three free throws.
