Track & Field Wraps Up Indoor Season On Saturday

NEW YORK - Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's track & field teams wrapped up the 2019-20 indoor campaign at the ECAC Division III Championships at the New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory on Saturday afternoon, March 7.

 

Andrew Bomberger earned a runner-up finish in the men's heptathlon, racking up 3,503 total points. Within the heptathlon, Bomberger won both the shot put and pole vault events.

 

On the women's side, Alexandria Morrison competed in the 500m dash and secured fifth place with a time of 1:28.305. In the field, Jamilyn Nimo took part in the weight throw, as her effort of 10.45 meters earned her an eighth-place finish. 

 

Elsewhere, Alex White finished up his indoor season by competing in the long jump at Shenandoah's South Region Final Qualifier. White secured a fifth-place spot with a top bound of 6.47 meters. 

 

The Lions indoor season has concluded and outdoor competition is set to begin on March 28 at Susquehanna for the Jim Taylor Invite.
