READING, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg men's track & field athlete Alex White was in action at the Plex Shootout hosted by Alvernia on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 8.

White shined in the lone event in which he competed, posting a top effort of 6.85 meters in the long jump; a number that now stands as a program record in the event. The senior broke his own program record of 6.84 meters originally set last season. The Mifflintown, Pa. native secured second place overall and was the highest-finishing NCAA competitor in the event.

White and the rest of the Lions will return to action at the SU Invitational hosted by Susquehanna on Saturday, Feb. 15.
