STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – After a lengthy layoff, Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's track & field teams returned to competition at the Spartan Invitational hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday, Jan. 10.

Alex White was strong on the men's side, matching his best effort of the season in the high jump with a top leap of 1.98 meters. The senior also posted a mark of 6.72 meters in the long jump event.

Dominick Hogans earned a top-15 finish in the 500m run thanks to a time of 1:08.84; a mark good enough to earn him an ECAC Division III qualification. Mohamed Tall ran a 7.48 in the 60m dash to earn a 33rd-place finish, while Carlos Rodriguez finished 20th in the 60m hurdles.

Elsewhere, Sean Myron and Joseph Rebarchak competed in the shot put, with Myron also taking part in the weight throw. Tall joined teammate Alex Terody in the 200m dash, while Terody also took part in the 60m dash.

On the women's side, Alexandria Morrison posted a time of 1:29.98 in the 500m run en route to securing a 27th-place finish. Elsewhere on the track, Abagail Marquardt and Jennifer Ross competed in the 800m run, with Marquardt finishing 33rd and Ross coming home 37th.

The Blue & White have a quick turnaround, as some members of the program will be back in action at the Lions Indoor Invitational hosted by TCNJ at the New Balance Armory on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 11.
