Lions Off To Great Start At CAC Outdoor Championships

Salisbury, MD.- Penn State Harrisburg Men's and Women's Track & Field are off to an excellent start in day one of the 2018 CAC Outdoor Conference Championships. Rae Rae Taylor picked up CAC championship in the Long Jump and Javelin Throw. Joseph Rebarchak picked up a second place finish in the Javelin and Sarah Lehman finished second in the Long Jump. Alex White and Cameron Yon also scored team points in the Long Jump and Hammer Throw respectively.

Rae Rae Taylor got her championship off to a hot start, picking up the CAC championship in the Javelin Throw and Long Jump. In the Javelin Throw, Taylor launched the Javelin 35.94 Meters to pick up the victory. Rachale Hair and Alexis Imler took seventh and eight in the event. Hair toss the Javelin 31.88 Meters and Imler recorded a toss of 31.43 Meters. In the Long Jump, Taylor leapt 5.47 Meters to outduel her teammate Sarah Lehman. Lehman leapt 5.45 Meters to finish second in the event.

On the Men's side, Joseph Rebarchak picked up a second place finish in the Javelin Throw launching the Javelin 54.28 Meters. Alex White picked up a fifth place finish in the Long Jump, leaping 6.96 Meters. Finally, Cameron Yon took eighth in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 41.01 Meters.
