Student Athletes Give Back at Bethesda Mission

Harrisburg, Pa. – This past Monday, student athletes of the Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's track and field team, and student athlete, Nelson Jones from the men's basketball team, traveled to Bethesda Mission to give back to homeless men and women.

They took over 75 care packages including water and toiletries for the homeless. Head coach Danielle Lynch and assistant coach David Moore of track and field, helped out along with bringing Lynch's daughter, Olivia to pass out water.

Head coach Danielle Lynch was happy her team had the opportunity to give back, "I am so happy to have the privilege to bring our students and community together to connect as human beings in order to improve each other's lives. We look forward to connecting again in the future and welcome the opportunity to touch our community while enhancing the student-athlete experience".
