Men's Tennis Comes Up Short at Susquehanna

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at Susquehanna on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28.

The Lions (1-1) did much of their damage in doubles play, with the team's top duo of Sachin Venkatesh and Damir Cuturic battling to a hard-fought 8-7 victory in their contest, while Alex Rohn and Alex Kurtz had an easier time dispatching of their River Hawks' counterparts in an 8-2 win in the No. 3 matchup.

Cuturic was strong in his singles outing, rolling SU's Ethan Cooley 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 3 pairing. The Blue & White went down swinging, however, as reigning North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week Nick Rohn and Alex Rohn both played their opponents tough before falling in three sets in the second and fifth solo contests, respectively.

Looking to bounce back in their next outing, the Lions will host Albright at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 2.
