Lim and Rohn Sweep NEAC Weekly Tennis Awards

LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn State Harrisburg swept the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) weekly tennis awards, as Rachael Lim has been named the NEAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week and Nick Rohn has earned the league's men's tennis player of the week honor.

For Lim, it is her second consecutive conference weekly award. The freshman continued the strong start to her collegiate career by picking up four victories last week for the Lions. Against Lebanon Valley on Thursday, she teamed with Sydney Nye to win 8-3 at No. 1 doubles before handling LVC's top singles player 6-0, 6-2. Her wins against Elizabethtown helped hand the Blue Jays their first loss of the year and secure the program's first-ever win over the local foe. The Moonachie, N.J. native again teamed with Nye for an 8-5 win in the top doubles match before adding her fourth victory of the week with a three-set decision in the No. 1 solo outing.

Rohn opened his collegiate career by earning a pair of victories in Penn State Harrisburg's 5-4 win over Elizabethtown at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Sunday afternoon. The freshman teamed with Austin Stehman to earn an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles before picking up a 6-2, 2-0 win in the No. 2 singles contest when his opponent retired while trailing in the second set.

Men's tennis travels to Alvernia for the team's next outing on Thursday afternoon, while the women return to action at Susquehanna on Saturday.
