Men's Tennis Wraps Up Fall With Sweep of Arcadia

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg wrapped up the fall portion of its 2018-19 campaign with an impressive 9-0 sweep of Arcadia at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Tuesday afternoon.

The Lions (4-1) set the tone in doubles action, going 3-for-3 to begin the match. Isaac George and Sachin Venkatesh teamed up to defeat Jaime Zheng Zhu and John Zinzer 8-1 in the No. 1 contest, while Hyun Jun Kwon and Anthony Brominski defeated Ryan Stellato and Alex Post 8-3 in the second outing. Jared Gluck and Austin Stehman made it a clean sweep for the Blue & White in doubles play with an 8-1 win over Anthony Del Rio and Tim Zeng in the No. 3 matchup.

The momentum carried over to singles action, with George, Kwon, Gluck, Stehman and Brominski all winning their solo outings in two sets. Only Venkatesh needed a third set to defeat Zinzer, keeping the visiting Knights completely off the board.

With the victory, Harrisburg finished the fall with a 4-1 record. The Lions will take the next few months off before returning to action during the program's annual spring break trip in early March.
