Susquehanna Too Much For Men's Tennis

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg continues to near the end of its fall season, with the team suffering its first loss by an 8-1 decision to Susquehanna in the team's latest outing at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 6.

 

The Lions (2-1) were swept in doubles play despite solid efforts in two tight matches. The first came from the top team of Isaac George and Sachin Venkatesh, with the other coming from the No. 2 duo of Hyun Jun Kwon and Anthony Brominkski.

 

Kwon was responsible for the only singles victory for the Blue & White, as he completed the comeback in defeating the River Hawks' Alexander Cocolas 6-7, 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 3 matchup.

 

Harrisburg will return to the court to wrap up the fall portion of its 2018-19 schedule when it hosts Arcadia on Tuesday afternoon.
