Middletown, Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis team put in a strong performance Monday April 6th against the Frostburg State Bobcats.  After going down 2-1 in double's, the Lions fought back and swept every single's match to earn their second Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) win of the Spring.

The #1 double's pair of Chris Magee and Mitch Ebersole earned the only point in double's competition.  Their win proved to be a very important for the Lion men who then shined throughout their single's matches.  Magee also played the #1 spot in singles and was forced to go three sets before claiming a 6-0 win in his final set.  Ebersole also was happy to have the extra momentum from the double's win as he was tested in his 7-5, 7-5 win at the #3 spot.

Johnny Xue, Tyler Cook, Mahesh Subramanian, and Brandon Wolf all finished with two set wins over the visiting Bobcats.  The win was extremely important as it gives the Blue and White tennis team a shot at a playoff run.  The men still have two important contest against Souther Virginia (0-5) and York College(2-3) prior to the start of postseason play.

If Harrisburg is able to win those two matches, they could find themselves in one of the last remaining playoff spots.  The Lions next host Lycoming College on Thursday April 9th for a 3:30 p.m. start time.
