Lepore Sweeps On Senior Day; Lions Fall To York (Pa.)
Middletown, Pa. - Senior captain Vincent Lepore III (Chepachet, R.I. / Ponaganset) won two matches for the Blue & White but the Lions fell to CAC rival York (Pa.) on Wednesday April 16th.
The emotions were high even prior to the match when Harrisburg's Senior men's tennis class was honored for their outstanding careers while at Harriburg.  Senior Tyler Loy (Annville, Pa. / Annville Cleona) was one of the men recognized for his energy and leadership he put towards the men's tennis team throughout his career.  He held the fifth postion in single's today and forced a third set tie breaker before falling to his York Counterpart.  In doubles, Loy and Austin King (Manheim, Pa. / Manheim Central) played the third postion in what finished an 8-2 defeat.
Lepore was the other senior male honored today for his tremendous efforts put into the tennis team and entire athletic department during his four year career.  Lepore was a team captain that left everything on the court day in and day out.  His hard work was evident today as he claimed the Lions only victories.  First with the help of Alex Koltun (Mount Gretna, Pa. / Cedar Crest) in double's where they rolled to an 8-2 win.  Followed directly with his sixth position two set vicorty over the Spartans Zach Hanson.

Unfortunately Lepore's wins were the only two of the day and Harrisburg suffered their final defeat 7-2.  Playing in the CAC proved to be a difficult task, but with year one over with; the Lions will take their lessons and work this off season to prepare for their counter attack in what should be an exciting year two for Harrisburg participating in the CAC.
