Blue and White Fall to #17 Mary Washington

Blue and White Fall to #17 Mary Washington

Harrisburg men's tennis team matched up against their toughest opponent in school history Friday April 2nd.  The Lions took on the #17 ranked Mary Washington Eagles in what finished a 9-0 loss in conference play.

The lions were excited about the opportunity to compete against some of the best division three tennis players in the country.  Unfortunately it was not an easy road for the Blue and White.  All three doubles teams were able to battle with the superior squad as each group pushed back and won a few games.

In singles play only Alex Koltun (Mount Gretna, Pa. / Cedar Crest) and Tyler Loy (Annville, Pa. / Annville Cleona) were able to claim a personal victory by winnning a game to avoid the shut out. Harrisburg will not get to rest long as they face an almost equally strong Christopher Newport Saturday.
