WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team emerged victorious in a battle of regionally-ranked programs thanks to a 2-0 shutout of Lycoming at a wet UPMC Field on Wednesday night, Sept. 25.

Tyler Madairy's first goal of the season proved the game-winning score, while Alden Reeves also netted the first marker of his career. Jaden Longdon and Colin O'Hara each recorded assists in the victory.

Madairy put the Lions (6-3-1) out in front in the 15th minute when he fired a shot from distance past Lyco goalkeeper Jace Bennett and into the back of the net off feeds from Longdon and O'Hara. Before the first half was through, the visitors took advantage of a corner kick that resulted in Reeves doubling the advantage with a goal in the 37th minute.

The Warriors (5-2-1) got off five shots in the second half but all but one of them missed their target. Lycoming's lone look on frame came in the final two minutes but Penn State Harrisburg goalkeeper Shayon Kashi was game, stopping the attempt in the 88th minute to preserve the shutout win.
