Marymount (Va.) Outlasts the Nittany Lions

Middletown, Pa.- After a difficult game at Frostburg State, the Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team looked to get their second conference win of the year against Marymount (Va.) this afternoon. The Nittany Lions put up a solid effort and had several offensive opportunities but this combination was not enough to beat the Saints.

The first goal of the game came off of a corner kick for the visitors in the seventh minute of play. The kick landed in the box and bounced around several times before Andre Ferguson finished it and put the visitor's up 1-0. The Nittany Lions kept a zero for the rest of the first half and had several scoring opportunities of their own. The second half started out strong for both teams but Marymount (Va.) proved to be the better team by scoring their second goal of the game in the fifty-ninth minute. The Saints went on to win 2-0.

The men's soccer team heads on the road to face Mary Washington on Wednesday, October 28 at 3:30 p.m.
