Lions Hold Off Bobcats

Middletown, Pa- Aaron Kline continued his hot streak as he lead the Blue and White to their 11th win of the season.  Penn State Harrisburg gets back above the .500 mark in the CAC and continued their hopeful push to the playoffs.

As Penn State Harrisburg carries on with their best start in program history, they picked up another huge win Wednesday evening versus a tough Frostburg team.  The Lions came out firing from the begining aiming to get a quick lead up on the visiting Bobcats.  They got this lift from who other than junior Aaron Kline (Lebanon, Pa. / Eastern Lebanon County) who has been on a tear of the CAC conference the past couple weeks.  Kline netted his seventh goal of the season off a deflection from teammate Victor Weaver (Gap, Pa. / Pequea Valley)  who had beaten his man and was headed to goal.  Kline was in the right place at the right time to be able to give the Blue and White the goal that ended up deciding the game.

Frostburg made a strong effort to come from behind but the defenders of Penn State Harrisburg had a different plan in mind.  The Lions did not let up as they outshot the visiting Bobcats for the remainder of the game and was able to walk away with their fourth CAC victory.

The Lions improve to 11-4 overall and 4-3 in the CAC.  They will be back on the pitch Saturday at home hosting Christopher Newport.  Penn State Harrisburg will be honoring their seniors in a pregame ceremony before kicking off at 2pm.
