Penn State Harrisburg Continues Great Spring with 2nd Place Finish at Lebanon Valley

Penn State Harrisburg traveled to the Lebanon Country Club to compete in the Dutchmen Spring Invitational on Monday April 6th.  The Lions competed in a field of 14 teams from across the region and were able to take 2nd place overall, losing only to Messiah College.

A strong performance across the board propelled the Blue and White to a +24 score as a team. Harrisburg finished the day with all five golfers finishing in the top 20. Leading the day for the Lions was Tyler Shank (Palmyra, Pa./ Palmyra Area) who finished +5 on the day, which put him tied for seventh individually. The Blue and White were the only team with all of its golfers to shoot under 80 on the day.

The Lions will look to continue their impressive spring season this upcoming Thursday, April 9th when they travel to Elizabethtown to compete in the Elizabethtown College Invitational.
