Harrisburg Golf has Record Setting Weekend

The Men's golf team started their fall season at the Bridgewater Invitational competing against 17 other quality programs from across the Northeast.  The level of competition definitely helped raise the Lion's output as they came h after breaking three significant records.

Harrisburg finished 10th out of the 18 teams that participated in the Bridgewater Invitational, but that was not the story of the weekend.  Freshmen Tyler Massar started out his college career shooting an impressive 71 in the final round of play.  This was not only good enough for the team best of the day, but the schools individual record.

Keith Miller finished in the top spot for Penn State-Harrisburg  with his 151,  +7 two day total.  The overall effort from the men showed as well as their ability for success this season as the team also set a one day record of 298 and two day school record of 612.  A very impressive start to the new season for the Lions.

Harrisbrg will host this coming weekend for their annual Fall Invitational at the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.
