Penn State Harrisburg Earns 12th Place Finish at F&M Invitational

LANCASTER, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's golf team earned a 12th place finish out of 19 teams at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on Monday afternoon, Sep. 23.  The Lions shot a combined +46, 330 at the Bent Creek Country Club and teammates Mark Paradise (Moscow, Pa. / North Pocono) and Tyler Serres (Camp Hill, Pa. / Trinity) each a share of 34th place overall, the highest finish amongst the Blue & White players.

Tyler Shank (Palmyra, Pa/Palmyra Area) finished tied for 47th with a score of +12, 83 Matthew Hoare (Mechanicburg, Pa./Camp Hill) finished tied for 60th with a score of +14, 85 and Jason Long (Rockhill Furnace, Pa/ Southern Huntingdon County) finished tied for 67th with a score of +15, 86.

The Lions will next be competing in the Muhlenberg Invitational Monday, September 30.

York (Pa.), the Lions' Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) foe, won the team trophy by shooting a combined +18, 302 while the Spartans' Kevin Long won the individual championship with a -1, 70.
