Men's Basketball Receives Votes In Final D3hoops.com Rankings

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg received votes in the final D3hoops.com Division III Top 25 Poll of the season.

 

The Lions (21-8) received seven votes in the final rankings after securing a double-overtime victory at No. 6 Johns Hopkins in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament and advancing to the round of 32 before falling to No. 13 Yeshiva. This season, Penn State Harrisburg won a program-record 21 games, clinched the program's first conference championship and made its first-ever appearance in the big dance.

 

A number of individuals also earned accolades, with Donyae Baylor-Carroll being named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Player of the Year, Nate Curry earning NEAC Rookie of the Year recognition and Don Friday being voted the conference's coach of the year by his peers. In addition to Baylor-Carroll and Curry earning NEAC All-Conference First-Team honors, Dylan Daniels and Zegary Scott III were named to the NEAC All-Conference Third Team.
