MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's basketball programs opened their preseason camps earlier this week, signaling the official start of the 2018-19 winter athletic season.
Both teams took part in their first day of training on Monday, Oct. 15. The women open their season when they host Lancaster Bible at the Capital Union Building on Thursday night, Nov. 8, while the men open the season by hosting Gettysburg on the opening day of the Penn State Harrisburg Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 10.
Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's indoor track & field teams will also gear up for the start of their 2018-19 campaign with training in the coming weeks. The Lions begin their season at Susquehanna's River Hawks Opener on Friday afternoon, Nov. 30.
