On Wednesday's We Wear WHITE

The Penn State Harrisburg Basketball program will host their first WHITE OUT game in support of Penn State Harrisburg Benefiting THON Wednesday, February 7th, 2018.

Both teams will face York College, whose men's team currently sit #10 in the nation and #1 in the Capital Athletics Conference. Followed by their women's team who are #3 in the conference. The women's game will tip off 6pm followed by the men's at 8pm. All fans are highly encouraged to wear white and WHITE OUT the CUB.

Penn State Harrisburg Benefiting THON will be on site and accepting donations throughout the event for a last minute fundraising effort.

THON is a student-run philanthropy by Penn State University, committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Their mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research all in pursuit of a cure.

In 2017 alone, THON raised $10,045,478.44, making that a total of $147,703,369.10 raised since 1973. In 1977, Four Diamonds was made the beneficiary of all fundraising activities.

The Four Diamonds Fund is a charitable organization whose mission is to conquer childhood cancer. They cover 100 percent of all cancer care related medical expenses that insurance does not cover. Since the organization was established in 1972, Four Diamonds has helped almost 4,000 children and families with their battles against cancer.
