Men's Basketball Announces 2016-2017 Captains
Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team has released their captains for the upcoming 2016-2017 season. Senior Jazmon Harris and sophomores Kahlil Williams and Clinton Asaluwill be leading the Lion's next season both on and off the court.
 

This past season Harris led Harrisburg offensively with an average of 13.7 points per game. Asalu played well defensively for the Lion's throughout the season and came up big near the end of the season with five rebounds against Frostburg State and Southern Virginia. Williams led both offensively and defensively for the Lions and had a season high 13 points against Mary Washington.

Head Coach Don Friday is excited about this upcoming season and the captains, "I'm excited for this group to take the reigns of our program as we have an eye towards the 2016-17 season.  Our mission is to be part of the overall greater good of Penn State University. Each of these student-athletes embody what we stand for academically. They possess the intelligence, discipline, and drive needed to forge a playoff caliber team.  They demonstrate the important qualities I was looking for, Team over Self."
 

Harrisburg is coming off a 12-13 season overall, with seven wins and eleven losses in conference.
